ABOUT ME
Farha Ahmed
Hi, I’m Farha! my family and I have made Sugar Land our home for 32 years and raised two children who graduated from FBISD schools. I have been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years and run my practice here in Sugar Land. Our family has our roots here in the City.
I see an opportunity for the City of Sugar Land to be a City of Innovation, a SMART Tech City, ready for the future. My extensive involvement in Exchange Club of Sugar Land, Women’s shelters, Child Advocates of Fort Bend, Fort Bend Historical Commission, and Fort Bend Interfaith Council continues.
Prior to running for Sugar Land City Council, I was a member of the City’s Planning and Zoning Commission, reappointed by 2 Mayors and served for 4 years. I, also, served on the City’s bond committee and 2020 Vision taskforce.
